The InspecBC Awards were founded with a simple purpose: to recognise the professionals who work diligently behind the scenes to make our buildings safe. Surveyors, building control officers and inspectors often go unnoticed, yet their work is essential to the integrity of the built environment.

We believe that standards matter. That is why our awards are independent, free to enter and judged strictly on merit. There are no entry fees, no sponsorship packages, no influence at the judging table. Every submission is assessed on its own merits.

Our judging panel brings together experienced practitioners from across the industry, each with a deep understanding of what good practice looks like. They look for evidence of technical skill, professional integrity and the kind of determination that makes a real difference to building safety.
